Thanks for the kind words, Kieran. My only fear is that customs will see these as commercial quantity and try to slap me with a stamp duty. In which case you may see me on an episode of Border Security being tackled to the floor by Federal Police.

Hi Arith,

Is it possible to add a centre net to my order of the side nets? I may as well get them all while I'm here!

Once again Thank You!

this probably won't please Jim as people might want to increase their orders (ultimately that is up to him for how much he can take anyway), but coming from someone who has all of the nets, I couldn't live without having both sides AND centre.

I have both the side nets and the centre net, and honestly unless you somehow are after 'looks' in your boot. Centre net is a necessity with the side nets. Centre net basically acts as an empty net for you to put stuff in like shopping etc. It also doubles as a perfect holder to put things BEHIND (up against the front of the boot and the net) to hold them in place, like big boxes as the net is very elastic and can act as a barrier.

The side nets are perfect for the stuff you want to carry in your boot ALL of the time, but they are not great for 1 trip deals as they are a bit too small to fit most things that you don't want to keep in your boot all year round.
Personally I use the left side net for a 1L oil bottle plus the subaru carry case. I also have batteries in there for my LED torches, plus 2 small LED torches and then a big LED torch. The right side net I have a bottle of quick detailer, a few microfibre polishing cloths and a special detailing cloth. Under this I have spark plugs and some garbage bags.

You would be a fool NOT to get the centre net (in a sedan as I can only comment on a sedan) assuming Jim can manage to fit all of this in etc. It's worth it in the end, ESPECIALLY if you have a rubber Subaru boot mat which is easily scratched by things sliding around.

Just my 2C anyway :D

Heh-heh. Well said Kieran. But the extra bag surcharge has been costed into the price already so any additional nets to be ordered is fine by me. Closing the GB this afternoon anyway so the numbers are faily steady. But you're right. When I think back, all my permanent day to day stuff I keep in my side nets (first aid kit, cleaning rags, cleaning sprays, etc) while the centre net holds temp items like shopping bags, transported items, umbrellas, etc. The centre nets are always hung up, but if I need to take them down to make room for sometihng, it takes 2 seconds to unhook them.

No worries. All done. But good idea! The centre net compliments the sides to a great degree. As Kieran pointed out, the side nets serve their purpose but the main workhorse will be the centres. Ironically enough there isn't even an application for the Legacy sedan for centre nets. It took me quite a few go's before I found the centre net from the Outback that fits. Since the additoinal centre net only costs like an additional $3 to ship to my US destination, and free of charge to ship via Regular/Express as it fits in the same pre-paid satchel, it's a good investment.

Well with that said then, please everyone GET THE CENTRE NET.

It's highly unlikely that their will ever be another opportunity like this for a centre net!

Anyone have a photo of a centre net in use? (as opposed to sitting nice and... tight... with both lips... I mean nets, vertical and unfilled)

Sorry, no. I'll try to take one the next time I go shopping. All my permanent gear (ie- first aid kit, detailing products, etc) are in the side nets.

I thought Jim re-opened it but is making people pay $3 extra for customs charges or something?

I'm not putting in the order until tonight so I've already PM'd SegR to ask if he was still interested as it's not too late.

But yeah, I re-opened it briefly but have update the GB to close it as of Sunday April 3rd. This it to take advantage of the current price (most other sellers have already raised their prices another $7 - $10) as well as the strong dollar as both can fluctuate at any time so I wanted to lock in the price for everyone.
