The owner is an utter wanker as far as I can tell. Do some research on them first before you hand over your hard earned.

even if it was promising +30kw & 50Nm id steer clear of it on it on principle alone...plenty of interesting reading on other forums about powerchip
anyone who runs a company and acts the way that guy does doesnt deserve my business

lol that makes me think twice.
i was actually thinking of getting it done with these guys: http://www.marranos.com.au/index.cfm?pageName=home
apparently its done by a guy named Sonny who uses powerchip also.
so instead of getting a powerchip do you guys recommend me getting a custom tune??

where are you located
(would be very handy if people would list this......)

but there's heaps of tuners out there using opensource software to dyno tune or road tune a custom map for your car
even a mail in tune from one of the site vendors. XRT

Just try to invest a bit extra to get a custom tune rather than an 'off the shelf' chip. Try to get a tune from a place that has actually tuned Libertys. Otherwise you end up being the guinea pig because the place's specialty is Ford and Holden.

search for performanceforums powerchip, or wayne besanko is a c\/nt, (with a u) or f*ck powerchip etc. Find the thread on PF, read itm, laugh. Laugh even harder at the fact he cant sell the business now and has been f*cked hard by PF.
