I had an ecutek tune, tbe, new Unifilter airfilter and a Hyperflow TMIC fitted by S&J in Adelaide when I went back to see family in Adelaide last week. Pretty happy with the results, the car is transformed. Also swapped to DBA 4000 rotors on the front along with new pads and braided lines all round. Lastly a rear sway bar and endlinks. Have now got the car Subaru should have built in the first place.

Great result Dave, I know what you mean when you say the car is transformed.... great feeling when you step on the pedal and the car reacts the new way.

Curious to know, what was the original Dyno reading before the tune?

That's correct but a 46kW increase is magic! I'd love that sort of power boost.

Dave, I got 45kW from my tune and I am very happy with the car. I didn't know out of the factory they hold back so much power.

I think later on you'll find that your fuel consumption is better too, I mine was running pretty rich before.

Would've loved to have come.. I think.. my tune will be a few months later down the track.. I'd like to see how all the mods perform after each installation to notice the differences :]

That is an awsome improvement mate. I'm driving to adelaide (madness with two kids in the car!) in dec/jan so maybe we can get together with OzSti (do you know him?) and give you a chance to show off. And btw Oz, I'll be requiring times and locations of when your car is unattended for the longest periods so that i can swap(steal) your rims. :lol:

The gear the dyno run was in should not affect power output; however it will affect the torque (more torque in lower gears).
Usually 4th gear is used because it is closest to 1:1.
