Ok, I've had to close the GB until I figure out how to negotiate more luggage space from the wife (she plans to do all-out shopping while we're over there) to squeeze in more nets. :( Teflon is the last person for now. Thanks for the interest folks.

How about an "excess baggage" surcharge? ;)

For all those concerned with the 'drilling' part of wagon centre, I've scanned the install sheet (big thanks to Gambit for his understanding and generosity). Essentially it's just drilling a small hole on either side for the anchor points.

It's not the airlines I'm worried about. It's the wife's fist driving through the back of my head once she finds out the luggage space is gone, and especially if we'll have to pay extra for heavy luggage. I'm not making money on this so I'd be losing money if I were to take on any surcharges. :?

I meant to bring an extra bag back home with you, paying the airline's "excess baggage" charge, and spreading that out amongst all the guys you're bringing stuff back for :)

I was thinking about that. But not sure how it would come across if I increased the price at this point. But I'll research what the airline charges and post it up. Hopefully a modest increase of $3 - $4 will be acceptable.

Hey Jim,

You're already doing us a big favour by offering the GB but if it's going to be an impediment, I don't mind contributing to a small surcharge. (Don't want the Mrs to get upset) And I'm sure the other guys would not mind. :)

Thanks for the kind words. Ok then. I have re-opened the GB and have increased the price by $3 (to $33). Anyone wishing to withdraw from the GB due to the price increase please PM me to ask to be removed.

Naw man. PM replied and please check the 1st post as your starting point for any updates. Your name is listed on there. Sorry, but with so many people I tend to issue updates through posts. The cost for the nets and shipping can be calculated with the price list from the 1st post as well.

I'm seeing a scary trend of vendors/sellers raising the prices of these nets recently, so I think I'm going to close this GB early and place an order in case prices go skyward (or the Aussie dollar drops). So the plan is to close this on Sunday (April 3rd) afternoon, which seems ok as interest seems to have tapered off.

I've managed to figure out the pricing thus far (Regular Post | Express Post amounts):

  • Gen 4 - side pair : $37 | $39
  • Gen 4 - centre : $37 | $39
  • Gen 4 - side pair & centre : $66 | $68
  • Gen 5 - side pair : $45 | $47
  • Gen 5 - centre : $37 | $39
  • Gen 5 - side pair & centre : $74 | $76

Once I close the GB I'll PM everyone with account details. Cheers.
