Will This Grille Fit A 2005 3.0R

Hi All,

Have been looking for a grille for a while now. Have found on selling on US fleabay (for a Legacy) but my gut says it won't fit - even though the seller insists it will...

It looks like it's been modelled off the Corazon grille for the pre-face... If this is the case then I don't see why it wouldn't fit.
Although the front bar on the Legacy's in the pics is a little more protruding in the nose area I'm fairly positive the grille remains the same.

Please find out for sure before buying though as this just my observation/opinion and I own a post-facelift so I have no real life reference.

Could have sworn the pre-facelifted 3.0's had a different grille to the 2.0, 2.5, and GT's. If they can't produce pictures of their grille on a Liberty, especially a MY05 3.0, I probably wouldn't risk the headache just to save a few bucks. Why not buy from one of the vendors on the forum? Prospeed Racing or Ultrex if you're after a knock off, or Phat GT if you'd like the real deal with a JDM brand.

prefacelift grille is much bigger then 2.0/2.5i/GT's

+ the grille sits way to out on the usdm legacy's

This came in the other day for my friend - looks like it fits the pre-facelift. Will update on how it fits.

i can confirm that prefacelift 3.0's have a completely different grille. ive emailed many of the sellers on ebay checking to see if it fits a 3.0 and everytime they say no.

2.0i, 2.5i, 2.0GT have one size of grille
3.0R and JDM 2.0GT Spec.B have a different size

Clarence is right...though I must say the only gap is at the bottom - less than a cm in it.
