First Time Liberty Buyer- In Logan

Postby Hood Rat » Mon Mar 21, 2011 2:25 pm

Hi Guys,

Just bought a 08 Liberty Wagon from a guy in Mackay with 30,000km on clock.

Drove back to Brissy on Saturday pouring rain the whole way and must admit it impressed the hell outta me in the wet.

Looking to get some b spec wheels and a bonnet with a GT style scoop any ideas on price or where to get them in Brisbane.

Other Cars I currently have:
1976 XB GT, 351 Clevo, 4 Speed Man, Lots of Fun
1992 Subaru Brumby 1.8, 5 Speed with a Webber Carby on It.

Any help would be great.

Cheers Guys.

Tempe Tyres in Sydney sell the Spec.B rims for $100 each.
Also RE050A Potenza tyres that come on the Spec.B models for $220 each. Normally $450 each but due to their production date (about 3 years old) and that they did delivery km's off the boats for the cars (only 10-30km's)

Shipping is probably $60 or so I think

A couple of people have done the GT bonnet thing, one of them being THERB3 memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=804 (I think)

Welcome mate,

Congrats on the purchase. The $100 spec b wheels are the cheapest you will most likely find anywhere.

Make sure you post up some pics of your cars. Including the XB :)

Nice, on both counts. The 18's do look good, and at that price you cant really beat it, especially for genuine wheels.
