It's funny you say this Jim cause I really wanted to get the 14816 mufflers which are 3 inch tips....would of been too fat....lucky the 14815 are 2.5 inch tips which are very similar to the stock STI mufflers, so fitting should be okay I HOPE!

To confirm this I actually put the mufflers side by side with the STI mufflers ( still on the car ) and I was shocked to find that they are almost the same width, length ( muffler ) and tips lengths....good guess and gamble on my part since I didnt test or see these mufflers...I just bought them online.....

On the pictures they look big dont they? I also thought this...but now that I have seen them....they are pretty good size...and compared to the xforce mufflers....they shit all over them...

Yeah i have a pair of the 14830 mufflers that i brought off bay, unfortunately they do not fit the rear bumpers so i will have to cut and weld the appropriate size tips on them quad style to suit, if you run across this problem you can do the same.

shipping to melbourne was $2.00 = total of $600.00 flat

shopped around berwick / dandy and the best I could get was $320.00 each plus GST

P.S = my bad the inlet side is 2.25'' and outlets are 3'' - did a typo on my last message

* gambit aka Anthony * - compared both our mufflers and they are virtually the same??? only difference is your tips are 3.25'' angle cut each while mine are round 3'' each - thats probably why yours dont fit under rear bumper? cause on mine they JUST FIT!

Keep an eye on them the first few days/weeks in case the tips cause some irritation to the bumper bar.

my phats were fine the first couple of months. long drive to melbourne however had them hot enough to melt the inside of the bumper No matter, they sound great and still look good

nope not yet....I just got back from gold coast...plus the fact that I ran into problems with my car when I got back.....stupid BOV...

I'm still thinking on whether to put all my mods on at once or do 2 phases ..

hmmm....I would really like to sell them as a pair as it would be harder to sell the other one on it's own...not unless you can find someone else who wants the other one?

dont really have a price figure in mind? but from the top of my head $150.00+ each? plus shipping costs

people....just a quick update...I'm finally getting my phat dump pipe + xforce cat back + magnaflow system put in....hopefully be ready by sunday.....I will be generating a developement page similar to gambits as he is an INSPIRATION and BAD INFLUENCE to me..... * got to blame someone *

* not finalized but I will be in the process of selling my STI quad mufflers and original dump + exhaust system *
