Guys I can't remove the Cubby display as I am scared of scratching my dash or the surroundings around the display.
Does anyone know how to budge this thing as it is pretty firm in place. Where do you grab the cubby without feeling that I am going to damage it ?

i used a bit of brute force. It should just pull out with a bit of effort.

From where do you pull from or do you use a screw driver from the top, sides, bottom ?

Grab and pull from where ? Example hands within the cubby hole and pull out or grab it from the cubby door while it's open and pull towards you ?

grab and from the bottom lip , until it comes out a small bit, then grab from the top edge until that pops out, you can use a credit card or similar to get the initial grip on the bottom edge

Not sure if you have done this yet but my advise is DO NOT use a screw driver. Buy yourself a set of proper trim removal tools. You can get them for about $15 off of ebay.
Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa
Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.
