Howdy all! love the site!

This is the best website ever! so many sweet libs!! im goin crazy...so many options to make my car better!

My plans:
Engine:
not sure where and who to start with, but want more power and longevity - im at 91,000km now (bought 2nd hand) but i want this car forever! is it smart to do engine work at such high kms? my insurance said i can do 3-4 mods without increase in premium (happy with that), so i wanna start off spending around $3000 max on upgrading - will that get me far?

Exterior:
Rims - want to powder coat my Enkei's to a Matt black colour. not sure if this is wise, but been thinking about it so much lately...too much!
Bonnet - wanted to paint the scoop arc same colour as the rims - but is there a carbon arc? whats better?

would be good if anyone can point me in the right direction - im trying to read as much as possible in the meantime! cheers

Welcome

BTW with 3k to spare I would be saving it if your car hasn't had the 100k service, you will need to replace timing belt and its best to also replace the water pump, the pulleys and a few seals done….should be around $1500 mark.

Its best to start with turbo back exhaust and high flow air filter, you will notice the extra response, of course are tune would be ideal but can be done further down the road.

What are your plans for the car? E.g. daily, weekend toy or a track pig…. :D :D .etc
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

thanks senator,
advice taken - getting:
-Turbo back exhaust
-Custom Tune
-Cold air intake all @ Pulse Racing
ROTA DPT rims (rather than poder coating the enkei's)
getting it done next week! getting a bit edgy just thinking about how sweet it will be- cant wait!!
Stage 2 will be: TMIC, fuel pump, injectors; Stage 3 - not worried about that yet, plenty of fun to be had in the next 12mths!

yeh just got a 90,000km service & a few of the things you mentioned were changed. am prepared for the 100k service , so should be ok.

Its my daily work car - im a pharmaceutical rep, so drive it everywhere- doing a lot of syd - newcastle trips, so wanted to make sure the engine wont be working so hard.
