The fact that it was a swap for my quad-tip STi mufflers :)

Sorry Clarence, the quad-tip STi mufflers looked much better... :bad:

They don't suit your car IMHO, wth which you're mixing a combination of sporty and elegant.

Quads would look much better.

Ahh, you hit it right on the head, Jim. Elegance. Canons have more of a raceboy aura. Don't get me wrong it's a different look and not necessarily a bad one, it just loses it's elegance when a large pair of chunky coffee cans are dangling from your rear bumper.

At first I wasn't so sure, but now I've had another look, they look good Clarence! I bet they bark hard!

Much difference to performance?

I actually like the look of them, I think they look good.

They're pretty damn loud though when you step on it. Ben described it perfectly - it's like a bark. On idle though, it's quite nice. A bit of performance increase, less backpressure and all.

Now I just need to see if the missus is okay with it...

Is anyone in Melbourne interested in swapping these STi Genome mufflers for STi Quads or Phat quads?

i prefer them to the quads, with the diffuser.

i was after a set of Genomes for a long time, couldn't get any locally or cheaply then stumbled across a Fujitsubo cat system, got it for 150 euro, Now they are a pair of canons.

sound clip please Clarence!

Ill be up for a monthly meet! anyone interested, we can meet in a neutral venue, say nurburgring?!! You can try my canons!
