Hence I put it up as an option.

What I was planning to do before I got the Brembos, is a custom brake caliper setup which would give equal performance to the Brembos but be much friendlier in regards to wheel clearance.

As i said .....each to their own.
Machining wheels and fitting spacers are really questionable in my opinion. :wink:

A few years ago when I bought a set of wheels from PHAT, he told me that spoke profile plays a big part with clearing calipers, probably more so then the offset.

Too true.
Offset is important...but rear face of wheel design is equally as important.

It doesn't matter if it’s a little or alot reducing the material of the spokes will effect the structural integrity of the wheel, you Mexicans don't exactly have the best roads either.

Word.

Good wheels come with different face designs and often you get a different face design on your front wheels to clear bigger brakes and a different face for the rear to achieve more dish. Could look a bit weird on an AWD car though

if you buy the proper spacers you will have no problems
