Gen III Sydney

Hey guys,

long time lurker and buyer, even met a couple of you guys. Thought it might be a good idea to make an introduction

My name is Sam, I drive a white MY01 RX2.5 Liberty which you may find wandering around the Hills District of Sydney.

I've owned my Liberty for about 1 year now, after my old 92 Camry was wiped out by a hit and run Astra. Luckily it was probably the best way for it to go

So far mods that I've got so far are:
- Cold Air Intake + 3A Pod Filter
- Unequal Length Borla Replica Extractors
- 2.5" Mild Steel extractor back exhaust with metal cat, resonator and GC8 STi muffler
- Bilstein Shocks with Tein S-tech springs all round
- Whiteline rear swaybar

Future mods when cash permits:
- Piggyback ECU + Tune with Pulse Racing
- Braided Brake Lines
- Delta Cams (A while away I think)

I'm Current working as an engineer in the fire protection industry and am also studying Mechatronics/Biomedical engineering at UTS. Most of the money I earn from my job has a strange habit of getting bolted up onto the car....

Just got that Dyno tune from Pulse Racing.

results:



Generally speaking, heaps better response throughout the rev range and it keeps kicking through to redline instead of running out of breath at about 4500rpm. Pretty happy with the results and happy to recommend Pulse racing to anyone. Ended up going with a Haltech interceptor.

Only negative was the fact that I had to drive a Nissan Cube around for a while

I just had my '00 camry written off by a hooning pensioner and am looking at a '01 RX Lib.
Just wondering about some of your mods, at the moment I'm really only looking to mod a few performance parts like Cold Air Intakes and exhaust, so i was just wondering where you got those from and how much you paid. Car looks mint btw!
Also, have you looked at getting or know of anyone that has angel eyes or DRL on their '01 lib? i'm just not sure of how it will look!
