Postby [[d a n n y]] » Tue Feb 08, 2011 11:48 am

Ok
i sold my lexus
got some extra that i wanna spend on the car
what would be an ideal replacement turbo?
i dont wanna replace anything just the turbo and maybe a TMIC (bolt on)
cars already got full exhaust and intake

im aiming just under 200kwatw
after a retune and a fuel pump upgrade

my initial thoughts there TD05 off the EVO8 as they are twinscroll from factory too
what are your thoughts?

PHAT GT can no doubt help you out with all of that, or Gambit....as he seems to have been through so many different turbo / TMIC's lately trying to find a combo that fits together

VF36/VF37 seems a possible combination. YOu'll need a different downpipe though.

i dont think you understand what im trying to get to
ill make it simple
i have TD05 off my previous car (evo 8 )
my car runs a TD04
Asking can it be bolt on? with minimal mods
any1 got information about this and can share some info
so in this case my budget is pretty much nothing as im using a old turbo that i have

the reason the answer you get is ask PHAT GT is ill give you the answer straight up. The reason i can do this is i have just on 20 years experience modding cars to a high level (including alot of custom fabrication work) and 7+ years importing parts .....

now to your question

the answer is NO...NO and NO

Now if you did try this ,1.5K minium spend to get this to work.......but why would you
