Reduction in power?

Nearly everything is in here to start with.

Reduction in power?

Postby BlackGT » Thu Oct 04, 2007 10:56 am

Lately I felt that the car has lost power in 2nd gear and just doesn't have the head getting pulled back feeling when you give it some stick. Before I take it back to get it looked at do you think this could be related to increase in temprature therefore loss of power?

If I was to guess I would say I feel like I have lost 20~30% in power (in my mind).

PS Wife thinks I'm crazy

A faulty O2 sensor perhaps.

I have a sedan and it seems these are only for wagons which is a shame. I will do last 0-100 run with the GTech before selling it to prove performance drop.

Now to find somewhere flat and safe to do my run :tommy:

I am looking after a friends 00 WRX and I can safely say that the GT kicks its ass for power (feeling of head getting pushed back). I think the car is OK :D

I have gotten used to the power  .. no more money on mods for a while
