Postby Brad88 » Sun Jan 30, 2011 12:20 am

hey guys,

i am a fan of the te37 rims and there are some nice dish ones arround that iv seen (they are actually te37 ripoffs) , im woundering if anyone knows where i can get a set from to fit a my07 specb lib??

and also if anyone has these or has a pic of these on a gen 4 (mine is white) i would like black with silver lip.

genuine TE37s are an anodised finish and don't come in black with machined lip. These are all the AU229 wheel that you see and come in 18x7.5 +42. These are a flat face wheel with a lip of only 20mm so hardly what you'd call dished... But any genuine TE37 does not have dish, but only become concave at lower offset which won't fit subaru

Check out Rota Grid's unless you want to fork out $1000 per wheel!

Not really what I would call dish, but the aggressive offset versions are quite concave!

to get concave on a TE37 you would have to have an offset that is definitely not suitable for a liberty.

I think you need to be sure you're using the right terminology here:

This is dish:

This is concave

and this is flat face:

Flat Face is all that you'll get to fit a Gen IV without major guard work, i.e. grids in 18x8.5 +48

To get the Grid's (or any Rota's for that matter) concave, you need them in 9" and wider.

Grid's go up to 18's (and possibly 19's) - I've got the 18 x 9.5 +38 on my car - do not get this size if you have to ask questions on how they are going to fit.

That looks more like a Nissan 350z to me than a Supra...?

As I've posted above, clearly you can buy 18" Rota Grid with concave face to suit the Lib... If you don't like them, check out the Wheel thread linked above for a heap of other wheels that will fit and suit the Liberty!

the magic word at the top of this guys post .....19" Deep Dish TE37 Remakes

the real TE37's only come in 18x7.5 +48 , 5x100 max size for the Liberty .....or do a PCD conversion and get some 20"s
