Oh yer, I forgot about politely asking one of the Vic members!

To give you an idea, I bought mine from a the dealer in Parramatta for $30k with just under 30,000kms on it (mine is a MY05 / 2005 3RB manual sedan) so the VIC on stands up value wise, again if you can get it for $29k

I'd have bought a wagon too if I paused and thought about it

I'd have definitely bought a BLACK wagon in a heart beat
Now that I'm in North America, I'm greatly concerned about raised pick-up trucks and owners of wedge shaped vehicles. Seriously, not only do you have to be concerned about one hitting you in an accident, they stand a good chance of driving over you at the same time!

that would at least save you travelling only to find out its no good. :)

Yep, and geez I hope dave wasn;t having me on.. :D :D
Buying as car sight-unseen until it arrives at my door...

but we had a long chat about the car and it all stacked up with the pics and info from the dealer anyway
anyway, buying a used car is a lottery as is is.
i could get it home and it burn a litre of oil in a day.
but i couldn't have picked that up myself from a test-drive and inspection

LOL.. imagine it'd be quite scary! I wouldn't do it personally, unless I absolutely trusted the person (I like attention to detail), but risk is much less because we're all car-loving people here, so we're all more-or-less have a keen eye to detail...

When are you expecting your car Robb? Let us know how it goes...
