Kevin is pretty confident the MY08 WRX ProcessWest TMIC will fit the GT as well!... I'm not confident the splitter will suit it though?

That's strange Jimmy, during my email discussions with him months ago he didn't mention that. He suggested he needed a Liberty guinea pig to get sizing right.

I'd just wish they had one availble as I always prefer supporting Aussie manufacturing. I'd jump at a Process West TMIC with splitter in a flash.

Ok... Just bumping this thread up as I'm back in the hunt for an efficient TMIC/intercooler solution...

If anyone can supply a Hyperflow or Perrin TMIC for a good price, I would certainly like to hear from you! :)

Just bite the bullet and buy this kit http://www.processwest.com.au/website/i ... icbig2.jpg and leave the engine cover at home

Will this fit with a front strut tower brace?

i dont see why not, but its hard when no one wants to fit one without someone else trying it first. So you see it will never be tryed unless i can gee someone up over here who wants a big topmount to let me fit one

Well... Just bumping this thread up, as I have purchased another TMIC(I'm getting quite a pile here) and proved that another TMIC will not suit the bolt on GTPumps/Zage turbo's... :(

Bought a Hyperflow TMIC from another forum member and it really looks like a great cooler! But... It turns out, it does not fit with the aftermarket "bolt-on" turbo's...
Basically... the turbo compressor outlet flange on the GTPumps/Zage turbo is on slightly more of an angle than the stock one and is fouling against the edge of the larger aftermarket TMIC's... here:

Anyways... its all massively rubbish, and I spent 90 mins for nothing tonight trying to get it on there only to be back at square one, albeit with a bit more knowledge!

BUT... Looking now at the ProcessWest TMIC kit for the MY08, I am confident that it will definitely not have the same fitment issues due to the inlet design, so I'm going to try and offload my pile of TMIC's(which will fit no problem with a subaru turbo) and then purchase the ProcessWest one... :)

hahaha Jimmy thats a shame! Never realised that it fouled against the end tank itself, thats too bad, well at least the processwest is significantly larger than those ones.
Should have just gone front mount with all your effort! :)

If the ProcessWest one won't fit, I'll be going custom FMIC I think... First time I've bothered to upgrade the TMIC on a Suby, pretty keen for it to be the last!

Someone buy the Hyperflow cooler so that I can order in the ProcessWest!!
