WTB - Racing / Bucket Seat

Hi All,

Anyone in WA (or anyone else who can offer cheap shipping), id like to find a Racing / Bucket Seat - Pref Black/Blue STI seat from a WRX STI (with rails if possible) for a racing set setup to play grand tourismo...

Open to other racing/bucket seat stypes
Only want to spend up to $200ish.
A little damage to the seat is ok.

Try a wrecker mate... Those sort of thing pop up on a fairly regular basis.

OR... There was a gaming set up that Harvey Norman used to sell which included a seat & frame for around $250.00... Haven't seen it around for awhile though.

Cheers, have already sent off a couple of enquiries to wreckers but noting back yet..

Have seen some setups with seat and fames (and steering wheels...etc) on ebay and gumtree.. but i just need the seat - happy enough to build my own frame; and my fiance is getting me the logitech g27 wheel..etc for chrissy.

Just wondering if any members had anything they wanted to get rid of first (might be sitting spare in a garage or something..

i had two 04 STI seats exactly for that purpose haha but sold them the other week.

at the moment i have an autobarn jobbie on an office chair base, works perfect

I think Just Jap sells 'styles' and 'types' for Recaro and Bride, which means imitation/copy. You could probably get the same from eBay for slightly cheaper. Just search for 'recaro', and there are a few copies that look decent and are suppose to be ADR approve (as stated on their auction pages but not sure if it's proven).

Thanks Leo, shame they are in NSW and im in WA... (i wouldnt like to think how much shipping would cost..)

Similar issue with EBAY..

Will just have to wait for a wrecker to get back to me.. saw an R32 Skyline seat cheap-ish, might have to fold and go with that instead of waiting for the STI seats to become available..

last time i checked, repco sell bucket style seats (not light though) for about $150 to $200.
