spotted one of the new silver 4WD mobile speed cameras on the Hume hwy (south bound).

never spotted a mobile speed camera on an interstate before.

didn't have much warning either. tiny little warning sign with fine print even satan would find hard to read.

Just out of curiosity - was the thing on the shoulder or somewhere in the centre/median portion of the road?

Wouldn't want for one of them to get hit.......

it was on the shoulder/breakdown lane. was behind some bushes too.

my10 wagon zippin' in'n'out of traffic on the way from pyrmont to bridge on wenzdee evening (6-15pm)....
had green number plates and and a cool green "space invader" on the back window.
had my slow car so couldn't zip with you

All spotted yesterday on my road trip from hell in the worst driving weather ever:

A white pre-facelift sedan heading along the Hume Highway near the M5 tunnel.
A black post-facelift sedan heading along the Illawarra Hwy near Bowral.
A silver pre-facelift wagon with red privatised plates in Nowra.
A white pre-facelift wagon heading along the Princes Hwy near Mt Ousley, Wollongong.

So you can figure out roughly where i went yesterday. On my circuit i got stuck in two accidents, drove over 500km, stopped for food once, crossed three flooded roads and saw two wedding venues. Shit day.
That said i did drive some great twisty windy roads, which i had all to myself. Pity the torrential rain stopped me from having a bit more 'fun'.
