How come they're illegal? Did the JDM lights not meet ADRs or something? :(

Still quite tempted to do it since they will give me the look I'm after and function fine.

You won't have auto levelling or headlight washer

Headlight washer is a joke, honestly.
How the hell are you supposed to know that the headlamp is dirty and needs a clean without actually being outside. And for those of you that have the GT-B's and 3.0R-B's, how ofter do you actually use the headlamp washers?

Yes it is.
If you hold the water button down for 2 seconds it will also spray the headlights as well.

All it does is make a mess of your car. I don't see the point of it.....although would be GREAT if your driving through locusts I suppose!

Thats what the manual says... but does it really? I found out mine doesn't, even after holding for 5 seconds. :angry2:

On second thought, does the lights have to be on for the washers to activate? :?

I believe so.
If that doesn't work then yours are broken, because mine work and it's awesome. It makes the projected light go all whirly. Probably makes people in front think an alien spacecraft is following them.

jdm legacys come in as a personal import so they dont need to pass certain adr's, but they do have a manual height adjustment. also they have a different shaped reflector compared to the halogen headlight.

put them in but just make sure to adjust your light down a bit so as not to blind on coming cars...

i will be putting them in my focus very soon leo where are you buddy
