TD04 in place of vf38

Postby zorbaru » Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:39 pm

Hi All,

The turbo on my MY05 GT automatic has gone and it seems that the vf38 turbo is a bitch to find.

A mate of mine can get his hands on a td04 (which he sold but can buy back) for $200 so i was wondering if these can be fitted to the autos and if so what is required to do so?

thanks

I bought a second hand VF38 and have 20,000kms on the unit with no dramas

I bought it on Ebay out of Japan after a recommendation from another forum member.

I went searching on Ebay to see if he had any listed, but does not appear so at the moment

Here is his ebay details:

Great unit, no dramas, but I am sure it had a few more KMs on it than described
