my05 cd buggered

Hey all,

The stereo in my car (standard cheapo non mac) has buggered up and wont eject the cd i have in it and also wont play whats stuck in there.

I'm just working out my options, do i fork out the money for a new fascia kit and get a nice 7"screen

or

is there a cheaper way to fix the cd player?

Hey John,

If you love your music, then there's no reason NOT to use such a situation to get into something really NICE.

If you don't want to spend the $$'s, then a call to SUNSPARES to see if they have a secondhand spare sitting on the shelf would be my next suggestion.

Yeh I do love my music so I decided I'm getting the latest alpine media centre Iva-520ebt with the Bluetooth and iPod cable included.
Gonna order the fascia this week

Nice idea, if you had waited a wee bit longer you could have had an opportunity to grab my Eclipse AVN 4400..... All the best with the Alpine, it will be heaps better than stock !

I've always had alpine gear in my cars and only had a problem once, and it was replaced under warranty so no issues.

Will post up once I get it all
