Spotted - GT-261
Black TB STi wagon, right at the top of my street at the fish and chip shop, parked next to him
Looked like it had PHAT cannons, and enkeis with an STi logo on the aftermarket front grille

Looks like Jim has spotted him before also.

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1807

The profile says it's a GT not a TB STi, so I guess he's a faker. Still looked awesome though

That's Rod. Has plenty of go-fast bits.
Nice guy, car is modified to be driven by a paraplegic.

No I'm sure it didn't. But why faker? Why not call it a jdm parts bin like you've done for your car. Or is the fact that it's not your car make it a "faker"? I'm not sure about you but when someone or something is called a "faker", it usually carries a negative connotation.

Just putting it out there.

His car had an TB STi badge on the rear and on the front an STi badge on the grille.

I have a Spec.B badge on the rear of my car (that I had to buy), I'm not pretending my car is a TB STi.
Hence why I said faker, as it's not really an STi.

Mine just has STi bits.

For all you know, maybe his car is actually a TbSTi. Just because his profile says its a GT doesn't mean it isn't a GT TbSTi. I could easily go to my profile and make my car a TbSTi when in fact its not.

Also, there are many people with STi bits, but you are the only one that has called your car "Operation STi Convert/JDM Parts Bin" and also said at one point something along the lines of "my GT-B will be #301/300 TbSTi's"

The fact that I am calling my car a parts BIN means I'm just having a laugh.
And unfortunately I picked the wrong text originally in calling it operation STi convert and the name has stuck because people actually said that name to me at the last cruise, so now I'm just running with it.
Why are you getting all pissed off about it?

I don't care if people think I spend too much money on STi parts, all of my STi bits are only visibly to ME with the exception of the spoilers, I didn't buy the parts for other peoples satisfaction, especially not for yours.

Poor choice of words calling his car a 'faker'? Sure....but I still said I loved the look of his car so what does it matter? It may be build number 261 of the STi's for all I know, but from what I could see (it was dark) he didn't have brembo's. And also he had one of those cheap looking STi rubber badges on his front Grille.

Edit: His car is a real STi, so my bad on that. However like in my original post when I first saw it, it looks GOOD, badge is just a badge.

Nah, I spotted it on Waterdale Rd, heading North last Thursday(?). at least I think it was your car...

On a side note, What's with the wiper on the rear window, is it a personal import from Old Nippon?

Actually they aren't Phat cannons. They are STi Genome mufflers.
