Here's a quick run down, prices are approx, couldn't be bothered with find the receipts at this time of night :)

* Gigabyte Micro ATX motherboard with Atom dual core 1.8ghz ($120)
* 4GB ram ($110 but you should only need 2gb so about $55)
* 500GB Seagate 2.5" HDD ($75)
* M2 power supply ($45)
* Micro ATX case ($50)
* Lilliput 7" 669 GL HDMI ultra bright 450cd/㎡ touch screen ($225)
* USB WIFI ($25)
* GPS receiver ($40)
* 4 port USB hub (powered) ($20)
* Tactrix 2.0 cable ($150 2nd hand, you can get away with the one that does data logging only which is cheaper)

It all depends how many gadgets you want with it, there's almost endless options lol
Software is free if you know where to look for it ;)

So Tai, your ICPC can also act as an ECUdatascan tool?

Yes definitely, I'm still yet to work out the software side on this, so if anyone wants to give me a dummies guide on how to do it feel free :D

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Most of the hardware side of things have now been finished, I want to sort out some of the software before installing it to the car. Hopefully that doesn't take too long.

Ok so some more pics of the screen all together now. Was really hard to take a pic of the screen, in real life the screen is very very vibrant, the flash has drowned it out though.

Just buy an OBDKey which comes with Windows based software to interface with the ECU.

Your system looks great, very neat :D

Hi Jim, I have the Tactrix cable, just need to get the software to run it and integrate into centrafuse, any idea what and where to get this.
Been reading so many things on RomRaider, Tree hugger, Sawmill etc etc and it's very confusing.

This looks terrific - does it come with install and set up for dummies - those of us more adept with twiddling spaniards might find this electickery a bit challenging 8-)
Can this sytem emulate the OE features that show acceleration G, Fuel consumptione etc etc.
If you can find a way of doing that by interfacing with the ECU I bet a few more people would want this as ant alternative to the OE kit.
Nice job

I think you are on a winner here Tai. I've got a spare cubby-hole/vent face-plate. Would you like to modify mine as well since you're getting good at it? I'm very keen to see how your set up turns out because I'm interested in doing this as well. I'd really like to see the finished product in the flesh since we're both in Sydney.
Cheers George :wink:
