Forecast for Friday
Cloudy. Areas of rain developing around dawn. Rain falling as snow above 700 metres late in the evening. The chance of thunderstorms during the evening. Winds northeast to northwesterly averaging 15 to 20 km/h, reaching 35 km/h at times, tending west to southwesterly up to 45 km/h during the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to around 11 with daytime temperatures reaching around 14.

Cloudy. Scattered showers with hail, falling as snow above 500 metres until afternoon. Winds westerly averaging 35 to 45 km/h, reaching 55 km/h at times. Overnight temperatures falling to around 3 with daytime temperatures reaching between 9 and 14.

Forecast for Sunday
Cloudy. Isolated showers. Winds westerly averaging 20 to 30 km/h, reaching 40 km/h at times, decreasing below 30 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 7 with daytime temperatures reaching between 11 and 16.

Last time I was at MDB it was unexpectedly snowing during the day. It was pretty cool because it was unexpected.

Was in the summit carpark 2 weekend ago and no snow at that time. Tomorrow and Saturday are the only forecast days for snow. Depending on the volume, the road maybe closed on Sunday morning (snow, trees debris, etc), so we just wait and see.
