Pre meet sounds good, as long as no one is late I hate waiting around early in the morning :)

How far up Maroondah highway do you have to go to get home, do you go through Ringwood?

Maccas carpark in croydon could be good spot for meeting up, that or the KFC carpark closer to Ringwood (just after Eastlink turn off)

That's the one!
But if you don't mind I would rather meet at the McDonalds a little further past (about 3km) the KFC, because that way I don't have to drive the wrong way to the cruise for much :P Same goes for my friend in the R32 assuming he can make it, he lives across the highway from the McDonalds

im trying to think which maccas you are talking about??? back towards ringwood or towards croydon??? havent been out that way for ages! from there to healsville do we get back onto the eastlink - eastern fwy or what?? ive never been to healsville before. hence why i would like to cruise up there with someone that actually knows where they are going!!!! :D

That KFC you know of....

Here is a google map link of how to get from the KFC to Maccas....
http://tinyurl.com/25qdfmb

So if you can handle driving in a straight line on Maroondah highway in the same direction you were already heading for 3km.... :D
This is my area where I actually live by the way, so I know my way around, and of course know the way to healsville as it's basically just follow Maroondah highway through lilydale, it's very easy. Me and Jim drove together this way on the way home from the last cruise from Healsville way, so don't worry

Andy,

There are a couple of us going to Healesville from the Cranbourne, Berwick, Dandenong area. What I would propose is that we organise a pre-meet point, just to assemble to cruise to the start. The more stops we have along the way, the more time we need on a Sunday morning, prior to the 8am start. I will be allowing 1 hour to get to Healesville from Lyndhurst via Sth Gippy, Monash, East Link, Ringwood bypass, Maroondah Hwy.

I would propose a 7AM meet roadside along the Sth Gipp. There are two safe roadside pull over points that I know of, the 1st being immediately after the ramp from the Sth Gipp Hwy to join the Sth Gipp Fwy. It is immediately on the left after the 270 degree joining ramp. The 2nd potential roadside point is again on the left just before the merge with the Monash. Often see trucks pulled into that one.

Let me know if you want to meet so I know if I need to stop. If anyone else wants to joint the outer SE assembly, just post a response so we don't leave without you.

Kind Regards,

Mark.
