I ilke the last version best, however, we just need to be flexible on the day to take into account the weather (wind, temp, rain) and have an alternative location in mind for lunch. The run up in the morning should provide a good indication of what to expect later in the day. Either way, Marysville for coffee .

Has anyone actually been up to the summit of Donna Buang? (I haven't).
The park brochure says there are gas barbecues there. I'm thinking we could just take a few loaves of bread, a big pack of sausages, and tomato sauce, and get everyone to chuck in a couple of dollars.

and.... has anyone actually driven up C505 from Healesville?
I'm a bit concerned about this 10km section: http://goo.gl/maps/twZ8
It looks a bit narrow and badly maintained on streetview.
I'm guessing this is the part that gets closed over winter.

If it's not too long we could just drive it very slowly.
Looks similar to that road the Rob Roy Hill climb is located off, quite a dangerous bit of road.

8am. It's pointless trying to run once the roads fill up with traffic.
