The bottom end haha

Apparently free boosting is not good for the stock bottom end
Pics? I'll try and dig some up. I was like 15 so didn't have a camera

Thanks for your replies :air_kiss:

It sounds like I should throw a pod filter on silicon/stainless intake.

I like this idea. Sounds inexpensive.

Thankyou :-)

It also seems like you should stop trying to get your GT to sound like a truck!

Good luck though.

As Grandad used to say... "F**k the expense, give the cat another canary".

You'll hear the whistle before you see the car. It will sound like a Rolls Royce turbofan straight off the side of a Boeing 747.

Or put a screamer pipe on it :D

+1, I've cut half the front of the airbox out and fitted only a replacement S pipe (short fat bit/SFB/airbox to turbo inlet pipe) and I already get some great hiss/whistle. I have a turbo inlet pipe (silicon intake) to fit as well which should make a suitably rediculous amount of whistle under boost build as well as a healthy PSSSSSHHHHHHH upon throttle lift of.

The added side effect (if untuned) is an immense amount of over run crackling through the exhaust, even with only the airbox and S-Pipe (short fat bit)!

Throttle response is marginally improved untuned, or much more so when tuned.
