'92 - '94 Front Bar

Hi all.

Old mate across from me has a '94 Liberty (sedan)
On the weekend, he's mounted the gutter & tried to pick a fight with a tree...he lost, killing the front bar & grill.
I can get hold of the parts from a '92, & wondering if they'll fit his '94.

Unfortunately, we're in a rural area, with the nearest wreckers 2 1/2 drive away, so not a great choice in parts 'round here

is it still the same Gen 1 model?? or is his a Gen 2 becuase i know in 1994 they changed over half way though the year.

but if they are both gen 1 then i think they might fit dont quote me on it but strip back the damaged parts from his car first and see what has to be replaced get a quote for the parts an see if it is even worth it with an older car like that.

Yeah it does depend on what Generation your friend has. The second generation started sales in japan in Oct 1993.
A 1992 front bar will fit a 1994 Gen 1 Liberty, but not a Gen 2 Liberty.
It cost me $250 to get a re-conditioned front bar and painted for my Gen 1 Legacy.
