I gotta say... I was a bit disappointed by this. I was expecting more... don't get me wrong, it does definitely help in gear kickdown in an auto, but was hoping I'd get a noticeable improvement in throttle response too. Maybe I was looking for the wrong things.

It's good for driveability, but I don't think it is worth $400+ in my opinion.

edit: I did not reset the ECU after plugging in the SprintBooster.

Well have u reseted it yet? Doesn't really take affect as your ecu has not been adjusted to it.

Once you do that I'd love to see if this is still the case.

Do I have to reset+flog? because I don't get much chance to flog it these days... work is only 6mins away (in peak traffic  ) but I'll reset it now and see how I go.

Man that's a bad excuse..

You just take it around for a good fang around the area :p

There's always a reason to go hard! NO FEAR :p

Unless there's some retard infront of you.. which is always the case.. especially if it's local.. :p you'd think if you lived in the area, you'd know how to get home faster..

Reset the ECU, took it for a fang... slightly better, but still... not worth the $450 IMHO.

Props to Franky though, nonetheless, speedy delivery and all. Just that I was expecting more :P

From previous posts, it appears that the Manual benefits more from the Sprintbooster than the Automatic does.
Black MY05 Liberty GT. Sti front lip, STi rear spoiler.
Hi-Tech Turbo-back exhaust (with quad tips). HKS Panel filter. Resonatorectomy. SprintBooster fitted.
35mm lower on Pedders Sports Ryder springs. Whiteline rear sway bar. 19" ROH Modenas.

I too was unsure, but after a few days of reasonably hard driving,im finaly noticeing some favourable results.
The characteristics of my car have changed quite a bit since the larger turbo,so my car already felt quite a bit faster than stock.
But!,spools slightly slower as its now singlescroll,i was hoping the sprintbooster would help with the slight lag.
Sure enough it has now ,throwing me back in the seat quite a bit harder now,so as far as 450 beeing expensive,it would cost a hell of alot more to get this result with any other mod or tune.

Hahaha finally Moz!

Geez just have to drive it like a man! LOL!

Good to see it finally made a noticable diff. So there goes that theory of not being effective on autos.

I drive an auto and I can confirm it works a treat :!:

More responsive, the gears kick down and off I am :!: Very very noticeable on a rolling start :)
