The Stig unmasked - for real this time.

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Fair to assume that the BBC will most likely replace Collins now that there is no mystery behind the Stigs identity.

I'd assume he had already been replaced if he was writing an autobiography about it all. ;)

What about their on air unveiling of Michael Schumacher as "The Stig". Everyone suggested that it was a publicity stunt/hoax, but there is no mention about that event in the article.

yeah well Collins may well have been one of the guys who played "The White Stig" but there have been many others. In that Brit Car 24hr race (where they drove the 3 series diesel) there were 4 different guys wearing the white overalls and helmet

That was a publicity stunt... The Ferrari that he was driving was developed by Ferrari for him especially & no one else was ment to / allowed to drive it - Well, that's what I heard anyway.

If you think about it, it's makes sense...

yeah, that was Schumacher's own Enzo FXX (Ferrari built only 20 of the things and "owners" are giving the opportunity to drive them at Ferrari organised events - they aren't even allowed to drive them home). Who better to drive it?

Obviously the exception like African stig and ill throw eco stig in there too.

But it makes sense to me because they can use any Professional driver that is available to do the hot laps and guest star training.

A letter in today's Green Guide wrote:
Here's a new gimmick for Top Gear following the Stig kerfuffle.
Given Ben Collin's physique and good looks, keep him revealed and put helmets on the other hosts.
