Idea is good I have seen ones which work at the steering column; I'd prefer it that way.

hmm, interesting. There have been the odd times when I have wondered what mine would be like with a reduced assistance ratio

I drove a WRX with one. I'd have to agree that although the quicker ratio is fantastic and allows much more control, it was more the reduced assistance ratio that I liked since the stock steering is just too light especially at highway speeds.

If they have Legacy options available for a reasonable price (<$500 landed) I might give a set a try just for the sake of it

Gerald,

Thanks for your question, but we are not planning on making the super steer compatible with the LGT, unless you do a brake conversion to the STi. If you have any more questions, let me know, thanks!

The one I saw a while ago was located in the steering column assembly or steering gear assembly (I don't know much about steering assemblies so am not sure which one it was)

It may not have even been for our cars but I thought it was a pretty good idea.

I have driven a PRB with a S S System fitted and it was scary and only suited to the track imo

Perrin is being way to conservative as this will fit the Liberty

Tony looks like you will be buying this as the WRX/STI use the same front hubs as the liberty so this will fit 100%

BUT!!! is it worth all the trouble when most of the members still run around with flogged out lower arm bushes ???

i'm tempted to buy a set to try, but then if it doesn't fit, it'll be a complete waste..

mike, can you share your insight as to why they'll fit? cos they were quite specific about needing the STi hubs and brembo conversions.

why would a Brembo conversion make any difference to how this worked , the calipers are interchangeable with out mods

the only difference would be the bigger hub bearings

the rack uses the same thread

the only think Perrin would be thinking when asked the question is ....we hav'ent tested on a liberty as yet so to be on the safe side we'll just say it don't fit

in concussion i think this will fit with out to much trouble......... BUT as i said before ,is it realy worth it

there is more i could go on about but i have some research to do on some new products in which im running out of time.i got to get this done before i get my ASS kicked

WOW this has been a daily record for my post counts...look out Jim and others im knoking at your back door

Back door action from the Phat. Jim would be a happy man

I should stick mine up on a hoist (or just crawl under there) one day and inspect those lower arm bushes. They've been in there 30 odd thousand km's now.
