Thats the ones. Cost me $500NZD second hand off a fresh import.

They are a bit busy in town but work brilliantly at speed on the back roads. Much more compliant than I was expecting.

They are only spring/damp adjustable but I don't really need anything else once theyre setup correctly.

Will get some pics up once I get a working camera again. $3000 wheels or $1000 camera... decisions decisions.

Re: Gen4 lowering springs. Tein S Tech,H&R or Kings?

Can somebody help me with Tein S Tech question?

Would a set of Tein S Tech springs which are currently on a LibGT with non Bilstein shocks fit onto my LibSTI with Bilsteins?

Or do I need a set of Phat Special Tein springs?

cheers

Laurie

LOL!

Yes, they will fit, but ride height will be another issue. Because the springs were specially design for either Bilsteins or non-Bilsteins, you'll get odd height differences when fitting one set to another. Front and rear will sit unevenly and ride will be a bit off.

Try to get the S.Tech's designed for Bilsteins if you can for your car. Surely the Phat-spec springs can't be that much more expensive than the 2nd hand ones you're looking at?

Unfortunately prices tend to fluctuate according to the exchange rate, but it doesn't hurt to send Phat an email asking what price he can land them for you. :P

Hi everyone, first time post so please forgive me if this has been covered before. What are these special Spec B Tein springs the PHAT can get? The Tein's I've seen lower the rear nice but the front points to the sky

The phat specials are good...as long as you run them on the Billies. If you are running on the KYB shocks, aparently the ride is VERY hard! I have H&R on my stock KYB shocks and although the ride is slightly harder than before, i havnt really noticed much of a drop in the front. Going by stock measurements, the front has dropped 5mm and the rear 15mm.
