Are you refering to the right hand side under the mirror adjuster? that seems like a perfect place to put a switch....

I've been doing more investigating. Mostly on U.S forums. It seems that 'if' the part number for the seat is the same for a seat with or without heated seats, then it's presumed that the seats may already have the heating pads within them. If this is the case then I need to look under the seats to see if there are specific electrical connectors. If there are then it's even easier as all I'd need to do is just purchase the switches itself, push out the blanks in the centre console & connect it up.

This may not work in Australia as it wasn't even an option here but I'm going to take a look anyway.

I had a quick look into this at one stage, some guy in the states did it to his car. Its not as simple as just buying the switches and connecting the switches. You have to buy the actual heat circuit that sits under the leather. You must remove the seats and remove the leather trim from the seats. Insert the heating pad and then re-upholster the seat. No doubt its a long and painful task. Also, im not sure if the wiring is actually under the seat or in the centre console for the heated seats. So you may have to run wiring too. When i did my amp install, all i saw under each of the front seats was 2 connectors on the passenger side and 2 or 3 connectors on the drivers side.
