MY07 Rear Spoiler

Hello all,

So, I was just poking around the web for some MY07 rear lip spoilers, the ones with the LED brake light built in. I had a look on the Subaru website and the only one I could find was an STI one, which was about $640 or so just for the spoiler (not painted or fitted).

Just thought I might throw a question out there, does anyone know where to get the same spoiler (but obviously not a subaru one) for a bit cheaper?

Testing the water to see what comes up.

Chris, I have one of these spoilers sitting at my house, I bought the unpainted version because it was the safer option instead of getting one that was pre-painted in case the paint job was bad.

I'm really considering going for the OEM STI spoiler at the moment, so if you are interested I can send you my one for cheaper than the ebay link.

Mine is also probably the best of the spoilers from that Ebay link above, as I mentioned to the seller about Sammy's spoiler having some defects etc, so the guy found the best one that he had and sent me that, he also tested the brake light before sending it out too, because Sammy's was faulty and had to get a new LED light replacement sent out.

The reason I want the OEM STi spoiler is because I am pretty meticulous with my car, and I want all the parts to be genuine. I'm also considering getting the OEM STi front lip as well, even though I also have the unused ULTREX replica sitting in it's box in my spare parts room.
Hell if you wanted that too you can have for a good price as well!
Although I'm not looking forward to Subaru ripping me off with their OEM parts prices.

This one is still in the box and brand new, only took it out to have a look at it to see if there were any ripples like Sammys, which there wasn't.

Well if someone is interested in both the rear spoiler and the ULTREX front lip they would get preference I guess.
If you are really keen I'll take some pics of them.

Sorry to rock the boat but i think your specB front lip wont fit the 2.5 bumper

That does rock the boat. Is it a Spec B? If it is, then I won't be able to fit it. In which case, I'll have to reconsider my options...
You said that you were considering the OEM Sti spoiler? Have you decided yet? Cause if you haven't, I would not be selling your unpainted spoiler just yet...

Also, does anyone know the cost of getting one of these painted somewhere in Sydney, and then the cost of having one fitted?

With all these added costs adding up, I'm cosidering buying the painted version and installing it myself.

Yeah I am definitely keen on selling the rear spoiler.
Also you would be looking at around $200-$250 for it to be painted and fitted from any decent place, anything more is a rip off.

The ULTREX front lip is for the Spec.B Model so yes it will not fit.

That will fit your car, just the front lip won't.
