What is this new beast Akwoo?

My mate is bringing his R32 golf along hopefully if he doesn't get a shift on for work.
Just been testing out the new CB radio's Ric recommended (the GME ones as the Unidens were discontinued...and bloody expensive) the range on them is very good, just listening to my local fire brigade for a bit before, will be good to use them on the road though :)

It's prolly just me... but are those double-backs on yan-yean road and whittlesea-kinglake roads supposed to be there? or is it just google maps being stoopid?

It's so we can see each other driving past or something like that I guess.
I'm a fan of it!

Both deliberate.
Point B is so we get to see each other. It was discussed in the original topic at viewtopic.php?p=130460#p130460

Point D is a lookout where you can stop and see the CBD from Kinglake, worth visiting. We'll stop there, so won't be seeing other Libertys coming the other way that time ;)

I haven't finished the cruise notes yet. Here's the current draft...

Tom as a guess, 8am start (imo make it 7.30 Ric) and pretty much 1 hour 45 mins of driving including a stop or two along the way, good luck with the 10am start at Frankston.
If you can stretch that out to midday you should be fine though. Do everything in your power to make the cruise, otherwise what is the point of our double-back route, there will only be open road to look at if we don't get enough numbers!
Also to be a part of the donation to the Kinglake community, do it for charity mate :) I know I will be putting in big for that!

According to Google maps:
Kinglake to Frankston is 1 hour 24 minutes.
Healesville to Frankston is 1 hour 18 minutes

Is that Gen2 white coloured? And has a Bilstein badge on the rear and a GT bonnet? I see it going home most days from work.
