Help me install my HID Fogs?

After having done it once I would NOT remove the front bar unless absolutely necessary, it is tricky to get back on if you don't have two people, and I put a scratch down one side when it slipped doing it as a 1 man job.

Or just put plenty of tape on the front guard !

Sounds good Drew, but when you say borrow do you mean for me to take them back to my house, or to use them at your house. Because this would take me quite some time to do, and I'm not sure you want a stranger working on his car in your driveway for a couple of hours, but then again I guess you wouldn't want a stranger taking your ramps either

either way... I'm always up for a tinker with cars (the MY07 is the first car I've never modified - yet) ... my Forester XT has aftermarket driving lights installed into the grille, with custom behind bumper mounting brackets, etc ... previous cars have had supercharging, heads shaved, etc... mostly in the garage...

Or you're welcome to borrow the ramps, if you leave me an address and some collateral ....

Hows my License Provisional or Full doesn't matter as either way if the cops pull me over I'm screwed as I'm not supposed to be driving the car for another 12 days until I'm officially off the P's, plus a 6 pack of beer sound? You can keep the beer of course
By the way how big are these ramps exactly, would I need a trailer to come pick them up or would they fit inside the car? If trailer then might just give it a pass as I have tomorrow off so I'll probably get stuck in to it before the weekend and see how I go.

Mega fail.
Undid a screw on the fog light part that I didn't need to unscrew then realised halfway, so I start doing it back up and the screwdriver slips and goes straight through and breaks the glass of the fog light.
How much is the fog light housing to purchase from subaru...sigh.

So I guess now I have to wait until I get a new fog lamp, and then I think I might just pay someone else to do it so I don't break anything else.
Although it was an accident with the stupid screwdriver slipping on the final turn of the screw

And if you are wondering how it's possible, I was screwing in from the back of the housing, and as I had removed the little fog light bulb when the screwdriver slipped it went straight through the hole and hit the back of the glass.

It's okay I saw the funny side in it too, and it's only money after all.
Things just didn't go right from the start today.
Drew's ramps which he was kind enough to bring around today wouldn't work as they were too steep and the front bumper would rip off, so then I had to jack up the car which was fine in the end and plenty of room, however my older brother decided not to tell anyone the car detailer was coming around today, so 5 minutes after I jacked the car up I had to take it back down and move it out of the garage then wait another 3 hours before I could start again, and then when I was doing awesome I made that one little mistake and fucked a perfectly good light

Bad luck man. Aside from not using too much pressure I'd also recommend having good tools. Cheap screwdrivers/bits are just asking for trouble.
