Did you get one of his scoops ?

What did you purschase off him. I must say communication is fine but his postage is very excessive.

I bought some LED tail lights a while back (which have since been removed from my car thanks to someone smashing one of them). Can't recall postage exactly but I find most things from the US have a ridiculous postage cost associated with them. Like $50AUD for a watch I recently purchased from the states.

but first you said 40mm, now it's more like 45mm?

Clarence it is defiantly 45mm. I have been speaking to Jimmy through email the last few hours and I am working out a price cause the $200 dollars delivery was a lot in my eyes. So I am waiting on his final quote and let you know. All I know it will be a lot better than the original.

With your scoop PM me a $$$. :D

Alright guys I have ordered this Stanza Bulge CF bonnet scoop.

Jimmy was very helpful with this transaction and I am very happy with the actual price I received it for.

Delivered to my door was $200 dollars US for the product and delivery, so converted to Australian dollars was $240.37 :D

I will take a few shots once received and if anyone is intrested I will supply you the actual link for the purchase that Jimmy supplied.

Bah! I'm sure a few cable ties will fix that! Cable ties fix everything! :P LOL.

But seriously, sorry to hear about your situation. I know you're pretty eager to fit it on, now it'll be another week or two yet. Did you get or was there an option for shipping insurance, which covers lost of damaged goods? Because depending on the seller, they may say the damage was the result of the shipping. But I haven't heard of any complaints about HKC-Speed so hopefully he'll just send you another one and have you send back the damaged one.

Bugger

Is it just the clear coat which has been cracked? Or is it the fibre as well?

Btw do mind posting pics of the under side of the scoop, I am interested to see the mounting surface.

It looks like only the clear coat has been cracked ? Is it repairable I wouldn't have a clue.

I wish I could take a photo but it's in the panel beaters hands right now but the fitment is perfect.

What I can describe of the underneath is that there is the 5 threads where the nuts are going to hold it in place with a little of double sided tape at the top.

I have to say it is a nice finish product but it is a shame that in transit this can happen. I know how things get treated as freight cause I work at the airport and know how freight gets treated. They should of mark the carton as FRAGILE aswell.

Awaiting on Jimmys email about the situation fingers crossed.

.

Clear coat can be reapplied, just need to soda blast the original costing off.

Make sure the you get a UV stabilised coating to ensure it does not cloud up over time.
