GT Spec B in the Tas mountains

Hi guys, there is a very nice piece of driving road called the A5 which winds around central Tassie.

I have just purchased a Spec B Manual in Black. Very impressed so far :)

Nice location, is that dirt road??

I've driven twice in Tassie, both in rental cars. First time from Launceston up through to Cradle Mountain and also from Hobart to Port Arthur. Both great drives and made me wish I had shipped my own car across. I could only imagine the headache if I'd had a major breakdown or some accident that prevented my car making it back onto the ship though :?

Part of it is a dirt road. At some points the road is not in the greatest condition. I think you can see the pot holes in the picture. But then again we do have all wheel drive and the scenery is worth it.
BTW it was so cold that the window spray froze in the nozzles.

I'm more concerned about hitting a pothole or rut at speed :). Looks like the perfect location to go quad biking!

Also you should put some window washer solution in your bottle it'll stop it freezing up.

Wow nice one mate.

Just went back tonight from Tassie.

Road in East coast(A3 or A2, I forgot) was great but the A5 which I just passed by from Launceston to Hobart this morning was the greatest. I went through that gravel roads for 30-40 kilo's and some part in the mountain was Ice and Snowy.

It was great though. I love roads in Tassie and almost no Cops at all(only found 2 Cops after drove 850Km's in one day) because I speeding all the time(mostly 120Km/h and max 150Km/h).

But yeah. Might be back to Tassie sometime.

Cheers
