I have the GT bonnet but not the scoop piece.

So if you remove the original scoop from the bonnet does this K2 bolt straight in ?

Hey guys,

I found this bonnet scoop from the states.

My question is would these fit our liberty's ?

Do you guys know if these are stuck on with 3M tape or bolted in the original holes

They are CF and have an extra 40mm wider opening then standard.

Different to the ARC scoop. The ARC trim piece fits over the original one, this looks like a full replacement. I don't know how it's secured to the bonnet, though.

Here is more info and pic from underneath the bonnet.

I just dont know how would you drill into a carbon fibre piece. It states its a OEM bolt on install and then it also has 3M double sided tape.

Product Description.

Subaru Legacy Bonnet Bulge Scoop (CF) - BL/BP 04-09 (A-F type)

OEM bolt-on install. Subtle redesign of the stock scoop with approximately 40mm opening for additional airflow.

Material: Carbon fiber
Color: Carbon fiber - ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION gel coating

Condition.
Brand new, includes manual and 3M double-sided tape. Original boxing not included to reduce freight. Easy installation.

Got word from the supplier and he said that they fit all liberty's. Also it bolts onto the factory bonnet scoop so no 3M tape required.

This is a what he said from his email: This is a very easy bolt-on install and not a '3M tape on". You will need to remove your OEM scoop and this will replace it. You do not need installation screws as you will be using the same from your existing scoop. This is designed for the Japanese Legacy but will also fit the Australian models. The air duct is used the same and remains the same. With this bulge scoop you have about 45mm larger opening in height.

The only thing is his postage is $200, do you guys think this is a bit steep.

Cheers.
