ECU Tuned for $2k.... worth it?

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Damn! I'd be asking for my 2k back...

Who cares what the DYNO reads so long as your car feels better to drive and is more responsive

The dyno is more about getting the tune right including on most of our cars things such as boost, with the kw and torque being the result.

I agree 100% you can not beat the seat of the pants dyno :D

well, if i was paying $2000 for a tune, i'd want to make sure it was done right and the only way to see that is on a dyno chart.

"feeling better to drive" is subjective. Just like feeling cold, feeling rich, feeling hungry. There's no measure.

Thats like me saying to a tuner: "please make my car feel better to drive and i'll make you feel like you made some money". Would that work?

The DYNO did read better, but they are just numbers and I wanted to feel it rather than looking at a readout but I understand where your coming from.

yeah i agree with others here, 2k is a rip off. I can get it done for you for around $1500 and I know that my tuner has gotten more like 20kw out of the last GT they tuned.
