Four calipers, slotted rotors, 5000klm old discs...for $1800...although they are in Perth...add about $100 for shipping....calipers look better than the other photo and the whole set up doesn't look like it has been sitting aroubnd for a while.....hope that helps.

No it just changes the amount of fluid that gets displaced for a given amount of pedal depression. You're thinking of braided brake lines.

a larger diameter MC will increase the required pedal force.

Not sure on the piston sizes in the twin pots and Brembos but if they are similar the same MC will provide the same leverage ratio. Despite being twin pots you still have to move 4 pots worth of fluid for the same pad movement

So essentially... less pedal travel for maximum brake clamping = firmer pedal

I have found on my Forester that there is a difference in two master cylinders available. A 1" bore on SG Forester and a 1 1/16"on most other models inc STI....I would have thought it would nbe the same on Liberties too.

The gold set pictured above I didn't get. The black sti set I purchased was off a forum member from rexnet and they were in very good condition.

Are they from a Liberty STi? or from an 08+ Impreza STi?
I'm told that the rears from the 08+ Impreza STi's are different to the gold ones and may be very difficult to get to fit!?
