The last revision is the 2008 UBD version (Subaru 1.5, WhereIs version 1.6); it's available from the 'worldwide backup service' if you look in the 'right' places...

They are currently going to bring out another update soon if the last one was '08?

I've got the same issues with the M7 - its a pain

The maps are from Whereis - it appears all car Nav discs are using the same age data; Whereis version 1.6 (UBD 2008). Apparently the Whereis 16 is labeled as version 15 for the Subaru discs. (but the data year is the same)

Whereis® Version 16 (Aust) map data includes:
Road data current to the 2008 UBD releases

I've managed to get the new V16 maps for the MY10 GT but have no idea where the disc goes?!?!?!?

The 1 inch think book re. the audio/satnav says there is a panel to "open the cover of the map disc slot" and remove the cover which is supposed to be below the normal cd/dvd slot but the pic in the book looks different to the McIntosh system and there is no notch to get a grip on as the manual suggests.

Can anyone help, I want to see if this disc I made will work!!!

You need to (carefully) remove the plastic cover where the word 'Macintosh' is directly under the CD slot... the map disc slot is behind that...

Cheers

Yeah got it off in the end.....it's funny, I was really trying hard to get it off with both hands/nails in on either side of the panel and the thing wouldn't budge.....then I just sat back and just put my thumb nail in the driver side and it popped off easily without too much pressure....go figure.
