Got the GT retuned yesterday

Postby tangcla » Fri May 28, 2010 3:40 pm

Now making 13psi of boost at 2500rpm :)
already at 10psi at 2200-2300rpm :D

Turbo is too small to get any more power out of it at higher rpm.

Nice one tangles!
Can you plot a log of your boost curve? I'm part way through having a tune done and this is where my boost curve is at the moment (3rd gear pull): At the moment i'm only on about 80& WGDC at 2800rpm while sorting the timing maps out.

Interested to know your turbo dynamics and boost target tables if you're willing to share your rom ;)

I left it with my tuner; I didn't ask for a copy of the ROM for my own safety :P

Happy enough. He adjusted the requested torque maps too, gear kickdown is so aggressive now. Plant the foot and it downshifts two gears - it's like having it permanently on sport mode :)

Good around town. Put the foot down and it goes well enough :) half throttle low-mid rpm response is fantastic.

I go to AutoRacingTechnik. Trust them with my car and Ray is very knowledgeable in both electrical and mechanical.
