Nikon D90 with 18-200mm VR2 lens

Im looking to purchase the Nikon D90 with 18-200mm lens.
ive done my research, am aware of the pros and cons of the lens and have ultimately decided that its the best lens for me at this stage.

ill be flying out to thailand 1st week of june and was curious to know if you guys had any good places to buy the camera and lens.
Nikon's are made in thailand, so would they be cheapest there, or would a good online warehouse like those offered up in shopbot be a better alternative?

better yet, someone got a as new one for sale?

I'd suggest looking at getting the body at least in Australia if you are going to be buying new. That is if Nikon warrants gear in a similar fashion to Canon Australia (Canon Oz will warrant Australian delivered bodies but not international bodies but will warrant any genuine Canon lens, Oz delivered or not)

Nikon Australia will not warrant anything bought outside of Oz.

lol yeah. if she has the twin lens kit (18-55 & 55-200) with all the boxs etc she can expect to get somewhere b/w 800 - 1000 plus postage.

the d90 is a wicked camera....the next best nikon is almost a grand dearer....why is she selling?
