You'd think so but I'm going by Clarence's past actions. He barely holds onto any item more than a few months before getting bored of it and selling it off to pay for something new. :D

Yes that would be including shipping + taxes to AU - if you look it is Yokohama / Advan Australia advertising them as a special for the World Time Attack Challenge that was just held in Sydney. Normally they are $3660 for a set of four, they are on special (at 40% discount) for $2196 set of four.

8.5+38 would look mexican. Doesn't look good on a Liberty IMO.

FWIW I paid $3200 for mine secondhand (knowing that they were discontinued) plus new tyres.

8.5" +38 is not Mexican, this is HOT!
OK he had to slightly flare the guards, but its not by much. Any competent workshop can pull 5-10mm without needing to repaint (plenty of heat in the guard/paint will help prevent any cracks)

Actually no, you're stretching the metal so it will look ghetto. Unless you're cutting the metal and refabricating it with fibreglass or adding material, you can't just pull it out of nowhere. Shape starts becoming deformed.

Also Patrick's guards are actually very roughly done when seen in person,

I see whats going on here, whether or not you realise it Tangcla, your not happy that:

a) These wheels are so cheap compared to when you bought
b) A few more people will have them, which means you wont be one of the rare few with 151s...

I think you may be subconciously be saying negative things and looking for reasons to talk people out of buying them, cause to me that car looks fine, I cant even notice the guards are flared lol?

Sorry mate but I think that's a very bold claim to make not to mention quite insulting to a long time member here who has always been more than happy to help others out. I'll agree with you in saying it'll look hot like patricks, but that said the guard work on pats car isn't the best. I've seen his car in person numerous times at cruises etc.. And it is definitely not smooth. It's almost like... Ripply? Looking from side on you really can't tell but from the front or rear you can.

And with what tkboi said, I'm not sure about you, but I certainly wouldn't be happy with the idea of doing something half hearted and having it look ok from a distance yet crap up close, each to their own I suppose.

Sorry, no offence was meant to clarence, I was actually laughing to myself as I wrote it, thinking I would be doing the same thing.

Im thinking I may just keep mine and can always get them resprayed, its only like $100 a wheel, I thought it would be around a thousand :S

Again sorry if I came across the wrong way...

Buddy, I know Patrick in person, I've seen it up close and even he pointed it out to me. I don't care if you get the 151C, it's your car, it's your choice, and since you live 900km away from me, I doubt we'd cross paths.

Like I said, it's your choice, if you get the +38, good luck with your panelbeater that can do a good job of flaring the guards. The Liberty isn't a drift pig so I don't expect them to cut corners.
