S402 vs 135i vs Civic Type R vs EVO X vs Caymen S

Postby swingn » Fri May 14, 2010 11:30 am

Hi all

Found this video while cruising the old youtube the other night:

I can't understand Japanese, but from their body language & voice tone, it looks like a bit of a Japanese version of Top Gear.

In any case, it's quite a nice little collection of cars... Can't say there is one car is there I wouldn't want in my garage... In fact, I'd be happy if I had just one of them!

Cheers
Matt

I'd have them all as my Monday-Friday cars. Then maybe an MP4-12C for the weekend.

What? Damn, was that just a dream? :x

I would never get to work on time if I had to decide which car I wanted to drive each morning :D

If I had any of those in the stable it'd be questionable as to whether I'd get to work in the first place - probably too busy out in the hills :D

If I had them all in stable I wouldn't need to work!. I'd hire the other 4 out on the days I wasn't driving them.

bloody hell. that cayman S is good. NA, and it owned 3 turbo charged cars. good enough to turn it's driver into a giggling idiot.

could well be down too the drivers as much as the cars. The Cayman driver was going a LOT harder than the others.

Norm, the S402 driver was using the grass on the inside in a number of places.

Well, it's not really fair actually, Liberty is a sport medium size sedan, and the competitor, mostly 2 doors coupe.

But yeah, the driver of S402 is Keichi Tsuchiya, Drift King in Japan+in the world.

So he's driving super mad and super good when it's under pressure. And the rest of the drivers, well they are drivers from GT350-500 Japan Touring Car.

Then the Cayman S, it's a porsche. When it comes to track, its about precision. No wonder less powerful than BMW 3L twin turbo engine, but since cornering speed are much faster, he can win.

Thanks

civic have problem and quit the race few secs after the start.
The guy in the Subaru says the subaru's suspension is good so would be better if they put more power to the legacy.
How many KW does the old legacy have? 165kw?

I am surprised porsche won. I thought the evo x should've won.

The only true way to know which car is fastest is to put the same driver in each of the cars but run it as time trial.
