$200? lol no way

but definately agree, i wouldnt bother using HID high beams. I use mine a bit on back roads etc and they are obviously brighter than the HID.

i dunno, maybe a set of 55W ballasts might do the trick, but definately not worth the hassle, plus if you are running low beam and driving light HID's, where the hell are ya gonna mount another set of ballasts :p

Thats why I left the High Beams Standard! I think it's just a wast of money I could be spending on something else! And yes the halogens do shine further and they penetrate better in misty conditions. Happy to have white fogs and parkers to match my Xenon's.

I just finished doing my HID fogs last week. I did mine from under the car, put it up on my car ramps. removed the slash gaurd in the wheel arch and the fog light is right there behind it.

Its easiest to pull the foglight housing out through the front bar, remove the surrounds around the housing and as Taylor said you also need to access from under the car to undo the bolts holding them in place.

Easiest way for me which took a little bit of fiddling... remove the mud guard from underneath and using a detachable sprocket set and get the bolt from there, 2 bolts... all in all took me about 20 minutes to do one fog light. Driving/main headlight takes 5 mins if that, remove cap and undo wire holder and it comes out!

Hope that made sense...
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Sorry to dig up an old thread AGAIN. But can someone confirm if the globes are a HB4 in the foggies or a HB3 ??

The reason i ask is cause i dont have access to my car at the moment. And i thought that the H4 configuration was a dual filament and thus a HB4 would be a dual filament.???
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

Dual filament? did you mean it can be high and low?

HB4 is used for MY07+ models foglight and it only product single light output unlike H4

HB3 is for high beam for the same model
