Interesting way to describe it mate!! :D :D Not an image in my mind that I was thinking when I read your first line of the post, but hey I get ya! Haha!

Glad you like it. Is the noise rather intrusive all the time or only on WOT?

I don’t find it intrusive, but some may. You can control it by slightly backing of and goes quiet.........

It really plays a tune between 2.5 to 4k, but that’s not to say when your cruising in that rev range its always singing (sucking). It also shuts up at WOT after your initial boost is reached.

I really makes the engine sound like its had some serious work.

Very happy with it............

Is there a different version for the 2.5 and 2.0 engines? I'm having a hard time finding one specifically for the EJ20T

Should be same same for EJ25T and EJ20T. However I think the states never got the EJ20T engine, only the EJ25T, and since the only places selling this is in the states, you may not see an application for the EJ20T.

Not meaning to hijack here, but APEXi make a good power intake for B4 BL5:

Price is only in the region of USD$155, places like nengun or a local stockist would be the way to getting one.

I've got this high up on my list of things to buy. especially since it so much cheaper than the K&N typhoon.
