EJ25D asked if I had shots of the lowered GT with Kings on them..

Big difference in handling and you will feel a firmer ride too.

thanks for that... really appreciate it.. im after that look.. anyone noe wat type of spring i will need for the MY07 2.5? and how much lower are the front and rear?

The guys where I got it done at in Penrith - Wholesale Suspension measured it up before and after.

Back dropped 10mm
Front dropped 20mm but he did mention that it would settle another 5mm in the front eventually

yeh looks good mate. looks a lot lower than i thought it would. interesting to see wat my ride looks with the 45mm drop :D

Yeah, not at the moment. Want to see how long the shocks will last then I might get the complete coil over set...

I saw some STi Bilstein ones on ebay... might look into them abit further.

do the shocks eventually wear out if the car is lowered on kings or another brand of spring?

All shocks wear out.

Obviously the lower you go in springs with the stock shocks, it takes the shocks out of their optimal operating range and thus they don't last as long.

The King springs, like Trieu and myself are the "lows" which dont drop it to much, but enough to make it noticeably better in the handling and looks.

The guy said he could of done some lower for me but I didn't want my shocks to die heaps sooner.
